Description: Sarracenia Megalodon grows to gargantuan proportions in the spring. It has a massive presence that stops garden visitors in their tracks. Spring leaves grow to 32 tall with 5 lids and have narrow hood columns with beautifully undulating lines. Â
S. Megalodon was purchased in a group of S. flava seedlings from Jerry Addington. We suspect it has S. oreophila in its distant parentage. Â
Pitcher Plant Care: Plant in full sun to part shade outdoors. Use peat moss and perlite in a very large planter and keep it wet. It loses its leaves in the winter. Cold hardy to 20F in a pot and 0F in the ground.
All plants will ship bare root, without pots and soil.
